Antique Copper Incubator Sterilizer Fume Containment Box Eimer & Amend of NY

Description

I believe this is an incubator (possibly fume containment or sterilization) box which was manufactured by Eimer & Amend of NY around 1900. The box is mostly copper construction and has amazing patina and aging but is still very structurally sound. The outside dimensions of the box itself measures about 12 1/8" tall by 10" wide by 10" deep discounting the plugs and such on the top, the feet on the bottom, and the handle and latch on the front. The box weighs about 10 pounds. This is an great old piece for an antique scientific equipment or apothecary collector. Please check out the condition description and the pics.
