    Description
    This is an antique scientific bell jar vacuum pump.  The bell jar itself is not included.
    The pump was made by E. S. Ritchie & Sons of Boston.  I don't know when it was made.
    The base is a very handsome hardwood and measures 20" x 12" x 1-3/16".  The pump moves freely, but the gasket may need lubrication to seal properly.
    The device is in very good to excellent condition.
    It will be shipped disassembled.
