The Ashton-Drake Galleries is pleased to bring you “Amber”—a stunning new creation from noted doll artist Angela Sutter.
Inspired by the glorious colors of fall, “Amber” is exquisitely crafted of hand-painted vinyl to bring out every wonderful detail. She’s 25 inches and a vision of loveliness, from her cascading ash-blond hair, softly rounded face with just the hint of a blush and soulful brown eyes, down to the tips of her perfect fingers and toes. Gorgeously costumed for a splendid autumn morning, “Amber” arrives in a traditional ensemble reflective of her name. Her breathtaking dress is fashioned of a shimmering taffeta-style fabric. A soft golden fawn color, the bodice and overskirt are richly decorated with graceful golden stitching, sequins and sparkling faux jewels. A border of chocolate brown brings drama to the hem of the underskirt, which features a hidden layer of tulle for added fullness. She wears white tights and white ruffled pantaloons. Her chocolate taffeta bolero jacket features a sparkling golden button, and her sash tied in a bow at the back is enhanced with a shimmering jeweled pin. “Amber’s” stylish headband is dramatically accented with a chocolate-brown fabric flower sparkling with faux jewels, and her shiny Mary Jane shoes and handbag with embroidered golden flowers complete her ensemble. Wherever you display her, sweet “Amber” will share her beauty with everyone who sees her.
