1994-2002 Dodge Ram 1500 2500 Pure Zinc Interleaves for Leaf Spring Rebuild w 4/1 Leaves/Side
The factory installed non-magnetic, pure zinc interleaves between steel leaves for proper sliding of the leaves against each other and to act as a sacrificial anode for corrosion prevention.
The zinc should be replaced if consumed by age and abrasion.
This is the truck set of 8 pure zinc interleaves that came in the factory spring assemblies, Part Numbers 52039122 and 52039226 for Dodge Ram with 4/1 spring configuration.  Part numbers are stamped on the bottom leaf - see next to last photo.  See last photo for explanation of "4/1 leaves/side", 4 main leaves plus one helper leaf.  Each spring assembly has 4 zinc interleaves, and a pair of assemblies have 8.
6 and 10 count sets of interleaves are also available for other Ram spring assemblies with less and more leaves.  Please contact the seller.
These interleaves are made from non-magnetic, 99.5+% pure, dead soft zinc sheet, same as the originals, not from galvanized steel sheet as other rebuild kits are.
Edges are machine cut to close tolerances.  Each interleaf is arched same as springs.
Due to the nature of soft zinc, some minor cosmetic imperfections may be found that do not in any way affect utility.  Guaranteed to function same as originals.
