  • Condition: Appears new, not used. There are no Allen head screw marks on the shafts or keys. A little dusty from sitting on my shop floor. Shipped with no lubricant.

    Description

    For Sale is a unused Chinta Gear Box as described below and in the pictures.  The gearbox appears designed for a vertical tank mixer or similar application.    The input and output shafts are not standard Chinta size 70 gearbox shaft sizes.  It appears that there is an additional bearing on the output shaft (the gearbox is higher than the Chinta 70 size) designed for a cantilever load, ie mixer.  The exact gear ration is 20.5 : 1.  The output shaft if 30mm dia x 30mm long with a 10mm key, included.  The input shaft is 22mm dia x 50mm long with a 7mm key included.  The unit weighs 45#.  Mounting holes are 8.75" x 4.75".  Chinta literature rates the unit at 2HP 1800rpm input.
