Large display to Army Ranger S.E.R.E instructor ( Loc = H4 back)

$ 76.55

Availability: 92 in stock
  • Condition: I have a display, of various items, associated with Army Ranger, and S.E.R.E instructor. When I got the items that were in a very large and heavy, wood case, with glass. There is no way that I would be able to sell as it was, and have decided to take the items out of the case, so that I can sell all of the items in one lot. Removing the items allowed me to look at each individually and comment on them. Please look in Item description below for details.

    Description

    Please make sure that if you live in an apartment, or hotel, that you don't have your purchases sitting in a hallway.
    I ship everything with a tracking number. Once item is delivered, I have met my ebay requirement.
    The first photo you should see is the complete display, already removed from the display case. Most of the items were attached with fishing line, and / or hot glue.
    I was able to remove all items, and remove the hot glue residue BUT the blood chit was glued to the wood backing, and could not remove without tearing it up.
    At first said to myself, don't believe someone did this to a blood chit---but on examination determined it was just a copy of the front. What I did was cut the wood backing,
    and will be able to ship the chit, with 1/4 inch backing. The buyer can make another display and use it if desired. So if you buy, let me know.
    Photo of the SERE instructors at Fort Rucker, AL.
    Army issue compass---complete, works well.
    Army survival pocket knife, Camillus mfg in 2006. All blades are there. The can opener will still work when extended, but spring broken
    Large round sparker for starting fires
    One axe, one knife made by KA-BAR in Taiwan. No scabbards to go with them
    Two SERE coins, they are the same---photos show one side, then other.
    At some point may have other items for this fellow. Will send one of my cards with the items. This fellow was an Army Ranger in the last year of the war in Vietnam.
    He put in 20 plus years of service.
