    Used, in very good condition
    A slip pipe was welded over the shaft as seen, but can be cut off,  There could be a splined shaft underneath, I do not know.
    This part most have been a modified for another vehicle at one time
    Universal joint is 100% original Maserati and untouched
    Found on 1960's and 1970's models like, Possibly  3500, Ghibli, Indy, Mexico,  Same universal on Mistral but this shaft is a smaller diameter shaft than Mistral, You be the judge
