Vintage Laboratory/Apothecary Metric Chromed Weight Set+Fractionals—Mahogany Box

Beautiful COMPLETE antique laboratory/apothecary metric weight set. Solid mahogany box contains 8 chrome plated brass weights, fractional and a pair of tweezers.
Box measures 5 5/8 long x 3 1/2" deep x 1 7/8" tall. Weights are 1x50 gram, 1x20 gram, 2x10 gram, 1x5 gram, 2x2 gram and 1x1 gram. Pair of brass tweezers. and glass cover on fractionas. Original padded dark velvet on the inside of the lid. Box was cleaned and refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Box is constructed of 5/16" thick mahogany and assembled using the barefaced housing joint. Great for a collection or to use. Shipping weight approximately 2 pounds.
